Six Books Scholarship (Undergraduate and Graduate)
Description
The Six Books Scholarship is intended to encourage educational attainment with a holistic view of the nature of being a student. This scholarship will be for any academic-related expense to help undergraduate or graduate members defray the overlooked costs associated with academic success. Awards are allocated on a rolling basis until all funds are distributed.
Eligibility & Award Criteria
Scholarships are available to initiated members of Sigma Lambda Gamma, are enrolled in an accredited degree-granting institution as a degree-seeking student during the next academic year, and demonstrated community service and involvement. Proof of enrollment in a 2024-2025 program is required prior to funds being released.
Application Materials
Personal Statement - In no more than 400 words, provide a personal statement that will assist the selection committee in getting to know you and consider you a qualified applicant for a Sigma Lambda Gamma Education Foundation Scholarship.
Resume - Please submit a resume or curriculum vitae, including employment history. Make sure you include all your leadership positions, special honors, and community, volunteer, and campus activities.
One Letter of Recommendation - One letter of recommendation is required to be considered a complete application.
Transcripts - One unofficial transcript from each undergraduate or graduate institution you have attended is required.
